Each week we'll give you one or two new profiles, and we'll leave the past few for your browsing pleasure.

Kevin Hagan, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and now hails from Columbus, Ohio. After moving to Columbus, he went to Saint Charles Preparatory School for High School. After high school, he was accepted to the United States Naval Academy, class of '03. He is a Political Science major, with a focus on law. After graduation and commissioning as an Ensign in the US Navy, he plans to go to Pensacola, Florida to train to be a Naval Flight Officer (that's like Goose from Top Gun). He was first brought to COMPASS in his sophomore year, by his friend, Chad Summe, who started COMPASS on the Yard. That next summer, he was one of the lucky few to attend the Prince of Liechtenstein Catholic Fellowship. After that amazing experience, he was hooked. COMPASS has given him the strength and direction to lead a Catholic life, and to lead others to do the same.

St. Thomas Aquinas, because of his belief in the harmony between faith and reason
Favorite book:
The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan, because of its classic good triumphing over evil theme
Favorite movie:
Hoosiers, because it shows that sometimes the little guy can win
Favorite food:
Steak, you can't beat it
Favorite virtue:
Fortitude, because it allows us to overcome adversity
Favorite place:
Hawaii, because it reminds us of God's perfect creation, our earth
Favorite hobby:
Singing, because it is a way to worship, or to just have fun
